I'm a female at an age that has earned me the right to choose what color my hair will be and to just let those wrinkles exist.  I'm an Episcopalian and lean quite a bit to the left on social issues.  My favorite things to do are to knit and read...and snuggle with my dog, Roxie.  My musical tastes ...U2 and Aerosmith for 30 years.  As far as the current line up filling the charts...U2 and Aerosmith are still there but The Fray, Coldplay, Switchfoot and quite a long list of singer/songwriters.  I am not a fan of remakes.

I read diverse topics and you will find that here.  My intent is to review books for the average person.  I read for pleasure and knowledge.  I am not a critic.  I will give my honest opinion and answer any and all questions.   You will not find extreme violence here.  I do like murder mysteries but not the graphic, over the top, in detail blood and guts type.  You will also find Christian books...some from authors you may know and others you might want to know. 

I'm just getting started so feedback is greatly appreciated. I hope I encourage you to visit your local bookstore.  I know the convenience of downloading books and they are awesome for planes, trains and automobiles.  But in my mind, there's nothing like a true page turner.

Give me some time to get a few of my favorites on here and then check back often to see what I've been delving into.
